Welcome to the Journey Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on top. Cover with Nature’s Watercolors green/brown watercolor paper. Use the Design Tool Kit to trace & cut a Scalloped Oval window in the center of the card front. Save the cut-out portion for the inside. Zot™ 6”x5” clear acetate behind the window.
Use the Branch cutting die to cut two sets of branches from Nature’s Watercolors brown paper. Use the Ponderosa Sprig cutting die to cut four sets of sprigs from Nature’s Watercolors green paper. Use the Cottage cutting dies to cut a brown cardstock cottage, a roof from Nature’s Watercolors brown/green paper, and three windows, a door and the chimney from Nature’s Watercolors brown paper. Use the Paper Blossom Paper Tool Kit with a mouse pad to shape the pieces and give them depth.
Zot™ just the tops of the sprigs to the branches. This will allow them to keep a rounded shape. Glue one branch to the top left of the card, and one to the bottom right. Overlap the window just a bit. Wrap a brown stitched ribbon around the bottom left corner. Foam tape a paper tole round button to the middle. Foam tape the paper tole oval greeting to the top right corner.
Card inside: Ink the edges of the scalloped oval from Step 1. Glue to the center, aligning it with the window on the front. Glue the cottage pieces together. Foam tape the cottage to the oval to keep its shape. Glue four small branches as trees.
Trace and cut an Elegant Tag from Nature’s Watercolors brown/green paper. Place the Dazzles™ as shown and glue to the bottom right corner.
