“Somebirdy Special” Card

Place the card fold at the top. Cover the bottom 2/3 of the card with brown floral paper and the top 1/3 with pink/ivory floral. Glue white rickrack across the paper seams. Glue brown rickrack 1/4” above the white.

Journal on the small pink tag and hang from the rickrack on the left side of the card. Top with a sheer bow. Layer the sheer flowers and secure to the small brown round tag then foam tape to the lower left corner of the tag.

Trace the small round bird onto pink cardstock, cut out and ink the edges brown. Cut a slit in the body using the knife and punch a hole for the eye and secure a brown mini brad. Trace the small wing onto brown dot paper and apply ink to the back. Fold and insert through slit on the body. Secure to the card front using foam tape.

Inside the card: Cut a 1 3/4” x 6 1/2” strip of brown floral paper and glue 1/8” from the bottom inside back, glue brown rickrack across the top of the strip. Journal on the pink book plate and secure to the left side, over the top of the strip with brown brads. Glue a sheer bow to the bottom edge. Glue a second bird to the right.
