Friendship Butterfly Card

Place the card with the fold at the top. Cut 7/8” from the bottom front. Cut a 6 ¼” x 3 ¾” rectangle of light blue and a 5 ¾” x 3 3/8” rectangle of navy blue and layer the papers. Glue a 1 ¾” x 3 ¾”strip from the pink border paper and glue across the center of the rectangles as shown. Glue the rectangle to the center of the card front. Glue the “Friendship” cut-out to the bottom right edge.

Trace the large butterfly onto green circle paper and use the knife to cut away the inside of each wing. Glue lavender vellum behind each wing. Cut the 1C butterfly from purple dot paper and cut away the inner portions of the wings. Line with light blue vellum. Layer the butterflies and glue to the pink strip on the card front. Trace antenna and top each with 3mm crystals. Place two 5mm and two 3mm crystals on the body and one 5mm crystal on each side of the butterfly.

Inside the card: Cut a 1” x 6 ½” strip of green circle paper and glue to the inside back, 1/8” from the bottom edge. Trace 1C butterfly onto lavender vellum and glue to the upper left. Glue the “It’s so nice…” quote across the middle. Add pen antenna.
