Cozy Mittens Card
Place your card with the fold at the top. Punch the bottom edge of a 6 1/4”x5” striped paper. Center on card front. Stamp small snowflake on each scallop and put stickles on center of each. Let dry. Mat a 5 1/4”x3 1/2” dotted paper on white cardstock with a 1/16” border. Center on card. Stamp “Cozy Winter Wishes” on white. Use template to trace rounded label “G” around text and cut out. Mat on striped paper, then on white with 1/16” borders.
Stamp 3 mitten sets, 4 snowflakes and 2 hearts on cardstock. Use heat tool to set. Using Spectrum Noir pens, color in one set of mittens with IB3, one with BT6 and one with GT3. Use DR4, GB6 andOR2 for mitten heart and details. Use DR4 for small heart stamps. Cut out all stamped images. Foam tape mittens at an angle. Thread a 7” length of twine through mitten strings and foam tape on card, placing snowflakes at twine ends and between each mitten. Use stickles on each mitten and snowflake. Let dry.
For the inside: Cut a 5 7/8”x4 3/8” snowflake paper in half vertically, then horizontally (4 equal rectangles). Place on card leaving 1/8” gap between each piece and 1/4” border around outer edges. Use stickles on bottom left corners of each paper “window pane”. Computer journal “Let’s Get Cozy” on dotted paper. Use template to trace rounded label “G” around text and cut out. Mat on white, then on striped paper, then on white again, with 1/16” borders. Center on card with foam tape. Glue a 2” length of twine at lower corner of text. Foam tape hearts over twine ends. Use stickles on each heart.
