Ink the edges and spine of the binder with a brown ink pad.
Cover the front of the binder with striped paper. Cut a 3" strip of dark brown paper and glue 1" from the left edge of the striped paper. Add pen work along the seams of the papers.
Print hinges and cut out. Ink the edges and add mini brads to the hinges. Glue to the front of the binder and trim the edges flush. Ink the edges.
Cover the back of the binder with striped paper. Cut a 2" strip of brown paper and glue to the edge of striped paper. Add pen work along the seams of the papers. Add another hinge with mini brads and glue to the paper seams. Trim edges flush to the binder and ink.
Line the inside with dark brown paper on the back cover. Then cover the front cover with dark brown paper and a strip of striped paper. Add pen work along the seams of the papers.
Print labels and trim with a small mat of background paper. Ink the edges and glue to the brown strip on the front. Print journaling on tan paper and trim into strips. Ink the edges and glue mixed around the labels.
Thread a thin strip of paper through the button and glue dot to the rust flower. Glue to the binder.
Ink the edges of the dividers. Print labels on tan paper and ink the edges. Mat with dark brown paper and glue to the tabs.
Embellish the dividers with strips of striped paper trimmed to 1 ½". Ink the edges. Print definitions and trim. Ink the edges and glue to the dividers. Trim strips of dark brown paper and tuck under the definitions.
