Sending Smiles Shaker Card
Card front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cover with Song Birds pink paper. Glue a 4¾”x6 ¼” Song Birds green script paper centered. Place the large oval cutting die on the card front centered, and trace around the edge. Use the cutting knife and mat to cut just inside the line, through all layers.
Cut two 4¾”x6¼” foam sheet pieces. Remove the back of one, and stick to the foam side of the second sheet. Place centered behind the card front, and trace the oval window. Cut through both layers, and make a window.
Glue a 4¾”x6¼” clear acetate behind the window on the card inside. Peel off the back of the foam sheet, and glue to the acetate, matching the window in the card, and the foam sheets.
Use the die cutting machine and large oval die to cut a black cardstock die-cut. Cut around the edge, leaving a 1/8” border. Use the craft glue to glue on the card front, and the inside shapes to the acetate.
Die cut three tiny butterflies from Song Birds pink paper. Glue a sequin to each, and foam tape as shown.
Place the sentiment Dazzles™ as shown.
Card inside: Place sequins in the well created from the foam sheets. Cut a 4¾”x6¼” Song Birds blue paper. Place tacky glue on the foam sheet, making sure there is a good seal around the oval. Place the blue paper over the foam, smoothing out the sides. Let dry.
