Blessings Card
Die cutting: Cut 6” square hammered silver paper and tape the cutting die centered on it with the cutting side against the silver side. Place it in the appropriate “sandwich” for your machine and run it through. Do not remove the tape.
Embossing: Place the embossing mat on top of the hammered silver and run it through with the appropriate “sandwich” for your machine to emboss. Remove the tape and trim outer edges evenly if needed. Gather 6 of the die-cut/embossed pieces from the snowflakes and save for the inside.
Front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cover with Iris suede paper. Pop out the die-cut circle from the center of the hammered silver die-cut/embossed square. Mat the square on Powder Blue suede paper with 1/8” borders. Glue centered on the card. Use your die cutting/embossing machine to cut a 3” scalloped circle from Iris Suede paper. Glue the hammered silver die-cut/embossed circle centered on it. Glue it centered on the hammered silver square.
Place Blue Jewel Dazzles™ on the snowflake design as shown. Add Silver Jewel Border Dazzles™ around the edges of the Powder Blue suede mat and around the edges of the card. Place “Blessings For You” Dazzles™ on the lower right portion of the card. Use 3/4” wide dark blue crepe ribbon to tie a bow. Trim the ends into a “V” and Zot™ the bow near the upper left corner of the hammered silver paper as shown.
Inside: Cut an 8”x1” hammered silver paper and mat the long sides on Powder Blue suede with 1/2" borders. Glue centered across the card. Add Silver Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the long edges of the Powder Blue suede. Die cut a 3” scalloped circle from Iris Suede paper. Glue centered on the card. Glue the reserved die-cut snowflake pieces in a snowflake shape on the scalloped circle. Place Dazzles™ “Thinking of You” near the snowflake. Place Blue Jewel Dazzles™ as shown. Zot™ on a knotted ribbon as shown.
