Celebrate Card
Card front: Cut the card to 8”x6 5/8” and place with the fold on the left. Cover with Rock On border paper with the star border on the left. Foam tape 6¼” square of Red Fireworks holographic paper centered to the right of the star border. Mat the long edges of a 1/8”x6 5/8” Green Circles holographic paper onto Red Fireworks holographic paper with 1/16” borders. Place a Gold Thin Line Dazzles™ down the center. Glue along the star border as shown.
Die cut the Starry Night image into 6” square of Rock On gray paper. Remove the star shape, and carefully place the rubber embossing mat over the paper. Run through the machine again to emboss. Tear the outside edges and swipe the ink pad over the raised surface to make the image stand out. Glue to the red holographic square. Place the cutting die centered on 8”x6” red holographic paper and die cut the image. Carefully place the rubber mat over the paper as before, and emboss. Remove the inner stars and set the embossed holographic piece for later. Sand the large star to highlight the image. Foam tape to the card over the star cut-out. Place the “Celebrate” Dazzles™ on a 5”x1/2” green holographic paper. Foam tape centered beneath the star. Foam tape a small red holographic star die-cut on each side of the greeting. Foam tape three small stars along the border as shown.
Card inside: Take the 8”x6” embossed red holographic paper and sand the entire image. Place horizontally, measure 1” from each end and score vertically. Score vertically down the center. Mountain fold the center score and valley fold the ends. Trace and cut the star shape onto Rock On green/blue paper. Mat on Rock On red star paper with 1/16” borders. Place “Happy Birthday” Dazzles™ in the star center, and Gold Thin Line Dazzles™ around the green star edges as shown.
Glue a 6x6 5/8” Rock On green/blue paper centered on the inside fold. Fold the green/blue star from Step 3 in half and glue centered on the square. Center the sanded, red holographic square over the inside fold and glue each 1” end flap to the card, 2¾" from the fold and 3/8” from the top and bottom edges. Cut two 2 1/2”x6 5/8” Rock On red star papers, and glue to the inside left and right card edges. Cut two 2”x6 5/8” Rock On blue star papers, and glue just overlapping the inside edges of the red star papers. Cut two 2”x6 5/8” green star papers and glue overlapping the inside edge of the blue star papers, covering the red holographic 1” flaps. Place Gold Thin Line Dazzles™ along each paper seam as shown, and along the top and bottom edges of the red holographic embossed piece.
