Forever Florals Sunflower Interlocking Gatefold Card
For the card: Cut 11"x7" Sunflower black cardstock and place it horizontally. Score it 2¾" from each end, then fold the ends in to meet at the center front.
For the front: Cut 2¾"x6 7/8" from the ends of the Sunflower butterfly corner cardstock, including the corner designs in the panels. Glue one centered on each front panel as shown. Place gold border Dazzles™ along the lower edge of the left panel and the upper edge of the right panel, trimming the excess.
Remove the Sunflower die cuts shown on the card front, keeping the inner and outer frames connected. Foam tape the frames to the left front only, centered on the card. With the card closed, use 2-sided tape to attach the center oval just to the right front. Tie yellow crepe ribbon onto the frames and into a shoestring bow at the upper right.
For the inside: Cut 5 3/8"x6 5/8" Sunflower flowers card insert paper and glue it centered on the middle panel. Cut two 2½"x6 5/8" Sunflower corner design insert papers with the designs at the lower left and upper right. Glue them centered on the side panels as shown.
Punch out the Sunflower “rise and shine” die-cut and frames. Attach the sentiment in the center of the middle panel and the outer frame around it. Set the inner frame aside for step 7.
Cut 4¾"x7½" Sunflower orange dotted parchment and carefully score it ½" from one end to create a tab. Place 2-sided tape on the back of the tab, then fold it under on the score. Centering the parchment on the inside, wrap the tab to the card back and attach it along the upper back edge.
Place gold border Dazzles™ on the parchment near the fold and the lower edge, trimming the excess. Place 2-sided tape on the back of the inner frame from step 5. Position it on the parchment between the inside sentiment and outer frame.
