With the fold on the left, cover the front with tan steampunk paper with the black border along the left and bottom. Open the card and place the Zig Zag Sew Ribbon Template along the fold, 1/4” from the fold. Punch the slots with the punching tool.
Apply the ribbon needle to the end of 14” of twill ribbon. Thread the twill through the holes and attach the top end to the inside with Zots. Leave 3” extra at the bottom for the knot. Repeat the threading process with the black velvet ribbon, going through the holes in the opposite pattern creating a zig zag look. Leave 3” extra at the bottom and tie in a knot with the twill ribbon. Trim the ends short and Zot to the card.
Stamp a large circle 1” from the top and right. Cut a “Bracket Sign” from steampunk stripes using the Layered Labels template. Ink the edges with a makeup sponge and Jet Black Stazon. Foam tape to center of circle. Stamp “Happy Birthday” on silver hammered. Trace a “ Victorian Label” around it and cut out. Ink edges black and foam tape to center of label.
Stamp a truck in the bottom right corner and stamp “Dad” on the truck. Stamp a scattering of small stars and gears around the edges of the card.
Glue 5”x4” of tan steampunk paper across the card 1” from the top. Cut out a “Bracket Sign” from brown steampunk paper and ink edges. Glue to center of the tan paper. Cut out an “Oval Sign” from tan steampunk and ink edges. Glue to center of brown label. Stamp “Superstar” on hammered silver and trace the oval around it. Cut just inside the traced line, ink edges, and glue to center. Stamp “You are my” on tan and cut out. Ink edges and glue tilted to the left, at the top left of “Superstar.” Stamp a scattering of stars and gears around the tan piece.
Cut 5”x1” of steel texture and ink edges. Use the Sew Ribbon Template to punch slots in the center of the strip. Thread 12” of twill ribbon through the slots and Zot ends to the back. Zot the strip to the card 3/4” from the bottom.
