Double Pop-Up Birthday Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold at the left. Cut 4¾"x6" Blue Persuasion navy border paper. Wrap a 6" length of navy crepe ribbon across the paper, 1¼" from the bottom, and glue the ends to the back. Glue the paper centered on the card front.
Foam tape the Blue Persuasion tag shown over the ribbon, 3/8" from the right card edge. Mat the “thinking of you” label on navy cardstock with 1/16" borders and foam tape it to the tag, extending off the right end.
Make a 4-loop bow with the same ribbon and tie the center with thread. Glue it to the left end of the tag. Use Extra Sticky tape to attach just the body of a 3" wide blue acetate butterfly to the tag as shown. Place Diamond Sparkles on the butterfly’s body and the bow center.
For the inside: Die cut the pop-up from navy cardstock, then follow the package directions to crease the scores in mountain and valley folds. Use Extra Sticky tape to attach the pop-up centered inside the card. Cut the Blue Persuasion border die-cut in half, then glue the halves over the ends of the pop-up as shown. Place silver thin line Dazzles™ near the upper and lower edges of the pop-up, splitting them at the center fold and trimming any excess.
Cut out the three Blue Persuasion sentiments shown. Mat the “birthday wishes” sentiment on blue cardstock with 1/8" borders, then foam tape it to the inside at the lower right as shown. Glue the other two sentiments to the pop-up as shown.
