Place the card with the fold on the left and cover the top 3” with Red Velvet ivory text paper. Cut 5”x6” Red Velvet red tapestry paper, measure 3” down from the upper right corner and make a mark. Cut your paper at an angle from the upper left corner down to your mark. Mat the angled edge on Kraft cardstock with 1/16’ border and ink the edges. Glue the side and bottom edges to the card to form a pocket. Cut 5”x6” red/ivory houndstooth, and measure and mark 1¼” down from the upper left corner, and 4” down from the right. Mat the angled edge with Kraft cardstock, leaving a 1/16” border, and ink the edges. Glue the sides and bottom even with the card edges to form a pocket. Place a length of Red Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the upper edge of the lower pocket paper. Sand the card edges, and lightly sand the card surface for a distressed look.
Open the card and make a 1½” tall slit in the fold, 5/8” from the card bottom. Thread Christmas Cheer 1½” wide red crepe ribbon through the slit and knot the ends on the left side of the card front.
Trace the Design Tool Kit #3 Lavish Label onto Red Velvet ivory text and ink edges brown using the stylus and pads. Mat with Kraft cardstock, leaving 1/16” borders. Ink the edges and foam tape over the ribbon knot. Sand the edges and surface of the Seasonal Sentiments “Joyeux Noel” circle die-cut and foam tape to the label. Tags: Trace the Design Tool Kit #3 Scalloped Tag onto both Red Velvet ivory tapestry and red text papers, cut out and ink the edges. Mat with Kraft cardstock, leaving 1/16” borders, and ink the edges. Use a ¾” circle punch to punch two circles from Kraft cardstock and glue to the top of each tag. Punch through the tops of the tags with a ¼” wide hole punch. Sand and ink the tags. Punch out the die-cut tags shown, sand, and glue to the large tags as shown. Thread tags with Christmas Cheer ribbon and baker’s twine and place the large tags into the card pockets as shown.
Inside: Ink the edges of 3¼”x3¾”x5” triangle and mat with Kraft cardstock leaving a 1/16” border. Glue to the bottom right corner, 1/16” from the bottom and right side. Trace the Design Tool Kit #3 Elegant Label onto Red Velvet ivory text paper, ink the edges and lightly sand. Mat with Kraft cardstock, leaving 1/16” wide borders. Ink the edges and glue the label to overlap the triangle as shown. Sand edges of “Sent with Love…” die-cut circle and foam tape to the label.
