Merry Christmas Card
Front acetate flap: Cut a 6 1/2”x6" piece of acetate and place it horizontal on your work surface. Use the dull side of your knife blade to score a straight line across the acetate, 1” from the top.
Place the Snowflake Lace stamp on your acrylic block and apply the Stamp and Stick Glue to the surface of the stamp with the pad. Stamp the image on the left side of the acetate so the image is 2” from the edge, avoiding the area above the scored line. Heat the image with the heat gun until the glue has a matte look. Sprinkle with mostly silver pieces of the Mega-Flake, then use your fingers to press the pieces onto the image. Tap off the excess and pour it back into the container. Use the Scoochy to remove more excess Mega-Flake. Repeat for the right side of the acetate. Fold the top edge to the back on the scored line. Turn the piece over and carefully crease the edge with the bone folder. Set the acetate flap aside.
Inside: Cut a 6 1/2"x5” white cardstock rectangle. Cover with Christmas Cheer red/ivory dots paper. Cut a 5 5/8”x1/4” Christmas Cheer green dots paper and glue centered even with the bottom. Ink the edges of the rectangle black. Cut a 5 5/8”x4 5/8” black lace shine design. Stamp the Merry Christmas Deer image centered on the black lace shine design with the glue as for the acetate. Heat with the heat gun and add the Mega-Flake, using mostly gold and copper pieces. Finish with the Scoochy as before.
Glue the black lace shine design piece centered on the cardstock rectangle, even with the top. Cut a 5 5/8” length of red glitter ribbon and glue across the bottom edge of the black lace shine design. Add Silver Jewel Dazzles™ for snowflake centers on the image as shown.
Embellish and secure the acetate flap: Place Gold Jewel Dazzles™ as centers for some of the snowflakes on the acetate flap. Add Ultra Clear tape across the back of the card, even with the top edge. Align the bottom of the acetate with the bottom of the inside. Position the folded edge over the top and press in place on the back of the card. Add more Ultra Clear tape over the folded acetate. Cut a 6 1/2"x1” Christmas Cheer green dots paper and press in place even with the top of the cardstock.
Back “PEACE” and “JOY” Charms Dazzles™ with Christmas Cheer red/ivory dots paper and trim the edges evenly. Re-punch the holes at the ends. Cut a thin strip of Christmas Cheer red/ivory dots paper and thread it through the hole in both charms. Trim the ends of the paper strip and Zot™ the charms and strip near the top left corner of the acetate. Use 1/4" wide silver glimmer ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow in place just above the charms.
