Place the card fold at the left. Cover the top 2 ½” of the card with striped paper and the bottom portion with dark blue. Glue a 3 ¾” x 4” rectangle of bronze glimmer, centered on the card, ¾” from the top. Glue a brown dot border cut out across the center of the rectangle, covering the seam on the background papers. Apply copper StazOn® ink around the card edges.
DicroFiber™ background: Create an approximate 4 ½” square sheet of fabric by using copper and gold fibers. Press between parchment and add torn pieces of Gold Glidenglitz. Press again. Cut the fabric into a 3 ½” x 3 3/4” rectangle. Pull some of the fibers on the cut edge to give a frayed appearance.
Press dark blue DicroFiber™ between the pressing parchment to create a small sheet of fabric. Punch butterflies and dragonflies from the fabric. Press the bugs onto the upper left and lower right, of the background, while between the pressing parchment.
Apply copper StazOn® to a small and medium paper flower. Layer and secure to the bottom left corner of the DicroFiber™ fabric using a mini brad. Glue the fabric to the center of the glimmer paper. Roll a scrap of the blue fabric into a ¼” wide ball and glue to the center of the flower, over the brad. Press one end of a small tuft of gold DicroFibers™ and glue to extend from under the flower. Stamp a greeting at the bottom of the card front using copper StazOn® ink. Glue more bugs around the card front.
Inside the card: Stamp the remaining greeting onto dark blue paper, backed by a strip of striped paper layered over glimmer paper. Glue to the inside back and glue a punched butterfly to the right.
