Let It Snow Recessed Snowflakes Card
For the card front: Fold a white 6"x6" card blank closed and place it with the fold at the top. Cut 5¾"x5¾" black shimmer cardstock and glue it centered on the front.
Cut 6½"x6½" royal blue cardstock and use the MISTI to stamp the large snowfall image onto it. Cover it with embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat the remainder to melt it. Trim the cardstock to 5½"x5½". Place a silver border Dazzles™ along the bottom, trimming the excess.
Position the two bottom layer snowflake dies on the embossed panel as shown and die cut the windows. Foam tape the panel to the center front. Die cut the middle layer snowflakes from Silver shimmer cardstock and the top layer snowflakes from Sapphire shimmer cardstock. Layer and glue them together, then glue each snowflake centered in the appropriate window on the card front.
Stamp and emboss “walking in a winter wonderland” on light blue cardstock, then trim it to 2¼"x1¼". Mat it on Silver shimmer cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue it to the front as shown. Place dark blue diamond sparkles in the die cut snowflake centers.
For the inside: Cut 3"x5" Let It Snow dark blue snowflakes cardstock and mat it on Black shimmer cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue it to the inside, ½" from the left edge. Stamp and emboss “if snowflakes were hugs…” on royal blue cardstock, then trim it to 3¾"x2". Mat it on Silver shimmer cardstock with 1/8" borders and glue it to the inside center, leaving the upper right corner unglued.
