Happy Birthday Card
Place the card fold on the top and cover with black cardstock. Cut the corner of Homeward Bound border paper to 6¼”x4¾”. Cut the striped border from the remaining paper and glue along the edge of the rectangle to continue the pattern. Glue to the card with the paper even with the fold. Ink the old edge.
Die cut one large swirl and one small swirl, and a butterfly in each size from black cardstock. Use sticky notes to mask off the area around the circles on the large swirl die-cut. Use the surface of the VersaMark™ Watermark Stamp Pad and blot over each circle and reposition the sticky notes and repeat for the other circle. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set. Glue to the card front as shown.
Blot 2 burlap flower blossoms with the VersaMark™ Watermark Stamp Pad surface. Sprinkle with bronze embossing powder and heat with gun. Zot to the bottom right corner. Hold two 10” lengths of Chalkboard Ribbon black twine and make a bow. Zot under the flowers as shown. Apply VersaMark™ to the surface of all 3 butterflies. Sprinkle the small butterfly with bronze, the medium butterfly with gold and the large butterfly with bronze. Dip large butterfly wing edges into gold as well. Heat set, and glue the large and small butterflies to the card front as shown. Place Tiny Words & Phrases Dazzles™ “Happy Birthday” at the top right corner.
Inside: Cover the card with Homeward Bound brown flourish/map paper. Glue the small swirl die-cut to the bottom right corner with the medium gold butterfly as shown. Place “Make a WISH” Dazzles™ to the left of the swirl.
