Thank You Card
Place your card with the fold at the top. Cover the card front with burgundy suede.
Use the Design Tool to trace the Victorian Cutaway shape on dark pink embossed cardstock. Remove the template and cut out the shape. Place the shape onto scrap paper. Apply Brushed Pewter Distress Paint onto the cardstock with the applicator, and then spread it out with your fingers. Use the damp paper towel to remove some of the excess from the background areas, leaving the paint on the embossed design and a little of the background area. Now add a little more paint to the embossed areas with your fingertips. When you’re happy with the result, let it dry.
Glue the cutaway shape on the card with the long straight edge 1/8” from the top. Cut a 6 1/2"x1/2” burgundy suede strip and glue across the shape, 2 1/4" from the top of the card. Place the Lacy Flowers Dazzles™ border across the card, even with the bottom edge.
Place the Dazzles™ 3 1/2” flower on burgundy suede and trim around the edges, leaving a thin burgundy border. Glue it centered on the left side of the burgundy suede strip. Back the Dazzles™ 2 1/2" flower on light pink embossed cardstock leaving a thin border at the edges. Foam tape centered on the first larger flower. Continue backing graduated sizes of flowers on suede or cardstock, alternating the two as you go.
Place Tiny Words & Phrases Dazzles™ “Thank You” on the burgundy suede strip, to the right of the flower as shown. Add two tiny flower Dazzles™ to the suede strip as shown. Place Silver Jewel Dazzles™ on the painted embossed cardstock shape to embellish the embossed flower centers. Embellish the Dazzles™ flowers as well.
Inside: Cut a 6 1/2"x1/2” burgundy suede strip and glue it centered across the inside. Trace the Design Tool Scalloped Oval shape onto dark pink embossed cardstock, and then cut it out. Add Brushed Pewter Distress Paint to the cardstock as you did for the front and let dry. Glue centered on the burgundy suede strip. Trace the Exquisite Label shape onto burgundy suede, and cut it out. Glue it centered on the embossed cardstock scalloped oval. Place Dazzles™ “You’re the Best” below center on the label. Back Dazzles™ small flowers on pink embossed cardstock or burgundy suede and layer together. Glue above the words. Place Dazzles™ tiny flowers as shown. Add Silver Jewel Dazzles™ as desired.
