With Love & Caring Card
Card front: Place your card with the fold on the top. Cut out two full strips from the filmstrip acetate. Use a ruler and craft knife to cut out the openings of the frames. Fill in three frames on a strip with Darkroom yellow marbled, striped, and blue scuffed papers—use strips of Ultra Clear Tape underneath the black parts of the filmstrip to adhere the paper. Cut off the right end of the strip along the blue scuffed frame so that about 1 1/2" of the frame is left. Cut across the strip horizontally, about 3/4" from the top. Take the bottom (larger) half and glue it to the top of the card, lining up the corner of the blue scuffed section to the top right corner of the card. Trim off excess on the opposite side. Take the other filmstrip and fill in the left frame with Darkroom burgundy patterned paper. Back only the top and bottom borders of the next frame with hammered gold paper, leaving the frame itself open. Back the third opening with brown/blue patterned paper. Cut off the right side of the filmstrip, leaving about 1/2" of the brown/blue patterned section showing. Glue this strip to the card directly below the first filmstrip. Glue the smaller half of the first filmstrip along the bottom of the card as shown, trimming off any excess. Stamp the two greetings in separate sections with Jet Black StazOn® as shown. Add a few small brown Bling to the vertical black bars of the filmstrips as shown. Zot™ a small yellow bow to the lower left of the card as shown.
Card inside: Cover the card inside with vertical Darkroom striped paper. Glue a 6 1/2"x2 1/2" strip of hammered gold paper across the card, 5/8" from the bottom. Punch out the pieces to the Paper Tole camera/filmstrip and place them on newspaper. Spray with Gold Dust Glitter Spray (preferably outdoors) and let dry. Spray a second layer if desired. Glue the base layer to black cardstock and cut around, leaving a 1/16" border. Assemble the remaining layers with foam tape. Glue the camera to the inside of the card so that the open window frames the camera. Cut the excess off the right side and glue it to the upper left as shown. Stamp "Know That You Are Loved" in the blank left area of the hammered gold strip. Mat the Paper Tole flower extra artwork piece on black cardstock and glue to the top right as shown. Place a medium brown Bling in the center.
