Mat the scallop edge with white cardstock, leaving a 1/8” wide border. Glue the scallop to the card and trim the paper even with the card edges. Glue a 6”x1” striped strip across the scallop.
Punch the circle from white cardstock. Center the round stencil on the punched circle and use 2 small pieces of tape to secure the outer edges.
Color the roses with dark pink chalk. Color around the leaves and the leaf centers with dark green chalk. Color around the outside edge of the template with dark purple, lifting the tape to apply color under it. Apply light green to the open area of the circle with golden yellow at the center.
Remove the stencil and apply golden yellow over each rose and bud. Apply light green over the leaves. Stamp “Wishes” at the open area. Foam tape the circle over the border.
Inside the card: Glue strips of 5/8” wide strips of green dot and striped paper to the left side of the card inside back. Stamp “Happy Birthday!” to the circle tag cut-out and glue to the right of the border.
