Inspirational Microscope Slide Mailer
Cover the front and back of the microscope slide mailer with crackle paper. Sand the edges then ink. Glue 1⁄2"x33⁄4" Black Lace paper on the left edge. Cut along the scalloped edge of the art lace border then ink the scallops. Glue right of the Black Lace then glue black trim over the seam.
Glue the photo art centered on the crackle. Foam tape the heart locket art and a heart cut out over the ribbon, 1" from the top. Zot™ a knotted ribbon to the locket. Cut around flowers from the pink floral paper and glue on the bottom right corner overlapping the photo art. Tap word Dazzles™ with a black ink pad and let dry. Place on the bottom right corner with silver heart Dazzles™. Ink a butterfly Dazzles&trade,; place on pink paper and cut around the Dazzles™ edge. Foam tape on top with a black butterfly cut-out. Place paper roses as shown.
Finish the back by gluing a 3"x1⁄4" Black Lace paper on the bottom. Ink a 3"x3⁄4" pink paper and glue above the black. Glue the “Made by:” label centered on the papers then glue ribbon trim on each side over the paper seam. Be sure to sign the label.
Inside: Trace the pattern (on the enclosed blossoms sheet) of the inside mailer onto crackle paper. Cut out the openings and trace those shapes onto Black Lace Shine Design paper. Cut out and glue the Black Lace into the openings of the mailer. Cut out the crackle paper and glue inside the mailer. Glue a 11⁄2"x33⁄4" pink floral on the left edge, trim even with the mailer edge. Glue a 1⁄4"x33⁄4" Black Lace right of the pink paper.
Glue art inside the openings and then Vellum Zot™ glass slides on top. Ink the mailer edges. Tie a crepe bow with one 51⁄2" long tail and one 1" tail. Zot™ the bow on the top right corner and glue the long tail across the mailer as shown. Create a collage of art and inked Dazzles™ over the ribbon on the left side. Glue a black butterfly on the right side and add Dazzles™ antenna. Back a butterfly Dazzles™ with pink paper and foam tape between the opening. Place inked word Dazzles™ over the bottom of the slide and frame.
