Lanterns
Prosperity Lantern
Trace, cut out and fold the lantern according to the template instructions. Position the template so the Christmas Tree design is centered on the right side of the lantern.
Trace the handle from green cardstock and attach with gold mini brads.
Add gold pearls around the bottom of each side and a few on the top. Tie 2 bows of green ribbon and Zot them to the top, as shown.
Celebration Lantern
Trace, cut out and fold the lantern according to the template instructions. Cut out the handle from red swirls paper and attach with gold mini brads.
To create the decorative border around the center of the lantern, cut a 7½” x ½” strip of red/gold swirls paper and wrap around the center of the lantern. Glue in place, trimming edges evenly. Attach the border sticker to the paper strip on the lantern. Decorate by squeezing a small amount of Stickles in the open spaces of the holly leaves and berries, and at the center of the flowers. Use the point of your knife to pull the Stickles to fill the shape of the leaves. Let dry.
Zot a ribbon knot to the top.
Open Sky Lantern
Trace, cut out and fold the lantern according to the template instructions. Cut out the handle from and attach with red mini brads.
To create the look of snow on the edges of this lantern, squeeze Liquid Pearls along the edges, then use the point of your knife to pull down some “icicles”. Also add some to the rounded edges of the handle.
Cut a small length of red rick rack and white ribbon, attach to the top and bottom as shown.
Sparkling Star
Trace and cut out the Sparkling Star ornament according to the template instructions. Cut 3 squares of green holographic stars paper, and 2 squares of the gold.
Use gold StazOn ink to color the white side of the paper for a sparkly gold finish.
Use Zots™ to attach a gold star brad at the center of the star, front and back. Add stickles along the edges of the star ornament for more glitz.
Tie a length of memory thread one of the loops to hang.
