The Raven Card
Cut a 5”x6 1/2” yellow/white flourish paper. Peel one acrylic sheet off the back of the “Raven” stamp, center on your acrylic block and use the VersaMark™ stamp pad to stamp the image in the center of your cut paper. Apply black embossing powder to the stamped message, shake off excess and use heat gun to set. Place your blank card with fold on the left and glue your paper to the front of your card. Cut two 1/2”x6 1/2” yellow/grey flourish papers and glue to left and right edges of card.
Cut a 4 1/2” square of black cardstock and, starting at corners, tear down edges to form two “V” shapes 3/4” wide. Tear off the outer edges of the “V,” toward the center point. Use the VersaMark™ stamp pad to stamp from the center of each “V” toward the inner edges. Apply Shabby White Fran-tage embossing powder and flakes of Gilded Fran-tage mica fragments, then use the heat gun to set from underneath the cardstock (using the heat gun from above will blow away the powder and mica fragments). Foam tape to the upper left and lower right corners of card.
For inside: Use the VersaMark™ stamp pad to stamp the “Raven” on the lower left corner of the large single flourish paper (on top of the large flourish), even with lower edge of paper. Apply white embossing powder to the stamped message, shake off excess and use heat gun to set. Cut 1/2” off of lower edge of paper. Glue to inside of card, with “Raven” at lower left corner, and trim to fit. Cut a 3 1/4”x1 3/4” black cardstock. Use the VersaMark™ stamp pad to stamp the lower left and upper right corners. Apply Shabby White Fran-tage embossing powder, then use the heat gun to set from underneath the cardstock. Foam tape to the upper right corner of card, 1/4” from edges. Computer journal “Happy Halloween!” onto yellow/white flourish paper and cut to 2 3/4”x1 3/4.” Using a sponge, ink edges black. Foam tape to the “Fran-tage” treated cardstock.
