Purple Poppy card

Stamp the poppy image onto white cardstock using the water mark stamp pad. Sprinkle with black embossing powder and tap off excess powder and return to the jar. Outline the flowers with 83 lavender and then color in with 146 mauve shadow. Use the mauve shadow pen to blend the darker color into the flower. Color the flower centers and buds darker with the lavender pen.

Darken areas of the leaves with 42 Bronze Green and then color leaves and stems with 175 lime green. Trace the 31/2”x 43/4” Bracket Label around the flower. Cut out, making sure to cut around elements of the flower that go outside the template lines. Stamp “Poppy” at the lower left corner. Mat with purple cardstock, leaving a 1/8” wide border. Glue a small purple bow to the center of the flowers.

Open the card and fold the panels to the center to make a gate fold card. Cover each outside panel with purple cardstock. Mat the short ends of 53/8” wide green/purple floral paper with white cardstock, leaving a 1/16” border. Glue over each purple panel, making sure to line up the white borders. Trim the paper even with the card edges. Glue the poppy stamped label to the center of 4”x5” vellum. Glue the vellum to the left side of the card only.

Inside: Cover the inside back panel with sponged green paper. Stamp “precious” at the top left corner. Use the 83 lavender pen to color in the “P”. Stamp the greeting on a small blue tag cutout. Glue to the card center. Glue a small purple sheer bow to the tag. Stamp the dragonfly image onto white cardstock. Outline portions of the stamp with the 83 lavender pen. Color in the dragonfly with the 146 Mauve Shadow pen. Cut out and glue the dragonfly to the top right corner of the dragonfly.
