Joyful Christmas Advent Calendar

For the tray: Trace and cut the calendar tray pattern from white cardstock, then score on the dashed lines. Follow the pattern to crease the scores on mountain and valley folds. Wrap the tabs on the curved sides to the back and adhere with sticky tape. Place tape on both sides of the end tab, then adhere it to the back of the tray along the bottom. Bring the upper back down and adhere it to the tab.

Cut two 2¼"x2¾" Joyful Christmas red plaid cardstocks and one centered on the inside back and one centered on the inside bottom. Trace and cut the curved paper pattern four times from blue/red snowflakes cardstocks. Glue the cardstocks centered inside and outside on the tray sides. Cut 2 7/8"x 3/8" Joyful Christmas light red snowflakes cardstock and glue it to the tray’s lower front.

Hold two 7" lengths of 1/8" wide grosgrain and ¼" wide sheer ribbons together and attach to the Joyful Christmas “Merry Christmas” tag. Repeat on the reindeer and tree tag, then use sticky tape to attach the tags to the inside back as shown. Place two gold border Dazzles™ over the lower edges of the tags, one on the tray’s lower front, and one on each outer side as shown, trimming the excess.

For the boxes: Trace and cut the calendar box pattern four times from green cardstock, then score on the dashed lines. With the outer side face down, crease all the scores in valley folds.

Bring the sides and front up and secure the tabs on the front panel to the inside with sticky tape. Bring the back up and secure the tabs to the inside with tape. Fold the top down and tuck the remaining tabs inside the box. (You can secure the last three tabs with sticky tape if you want or leave them open to tuck daily surprises inside!)
