Rich & Spicy papier tole card
Cut 5”x6 1/2” of burgundy floral paper. Cut a 4 1/2”x6” piece of berries paper and mat onto brown cardstock, leaving a 1/16” border. Glue to center of the burgundy paper. Cut a 3 1/2”x4 3/4” piece of stripe paper and cut off the top corners to make a tag shape. Mat the shape on brown cardstock, leaving a 1/16” border along the top and sides. Glue the tag to the berries piece centered, flush with the bottom edge.
Tie a knot near one end of 8” of burgundy crepe ribbon. Glue to center with the knot above the tag shape. Tape or glue ends to the back of the paper and glue the whole piece to the front of the blank card. Tie a small bow with the same ribbon and adhere over the knot with Zots.
Foam tape the first layer of Rich & Spicy Autumn papier tole onto the center of the tag shape. Assemble the remaining layers with foam tape.
For the inside: cover inside with burgundy floral paper. Cut the papier tole border in half lengthwise and glue each side to the sides of the card. Cut out a Bracket Sign label from cream cardstock and ink edges brown. Add brown stitches around the border with a fine tip pen. Trace the inner shape with a dotted line using the same pen. Sponge lightly in the inner shape with brown ink. Place a “Hello” Dazzle in the center and glue to the card centered 1” from the top. Punch out the three-flower image and glue to card just under the greeting.
