Santa’s Helper Christmas Card
For the card front: Open the card and trim 1½" off the right front edge. Cut 3½"x6½" maroon cardstock and glue to the front. Cut 3 3/8"x6 3/8" Christmas Lace maroon dotted paper. Use the design tool kit to trace and cut a frosty snowflake from Christmas Lace blue snowflakes paper, then mat it on navy cardstock with 1/16" borders.
Glue the snowflake to the maroon paper, extending off the left edge, then trim off the excess. Wrap the paper with a 4" ribbon, 2 3/8" from the bottom, and glue the ends to the back. Glue the paper centered on the card front.
Back the Dazzles™ doll shown with cardstocks and paper. Use Christmas Lace mauve lacy paper for the dress, peach cardstock for the skin areas, and brown cardstock for the hair and shoes, cutting along the Dazzles™ edges. Glue the doll to the front, ½" from the left edge.
Trace and cut the hat pattern from maroon cardstock and the brim from white cardstock. Mat each on black cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue to the doll as shown. Make a 4-loop bow with the remaining ribbon and tie the center with thread.
Wrap the prongs of a 5/8" maroon brad over the bow center, then glue the bow to the first ribbon, just right of the doll. Place black Dazzles™ “joy” at the upper right, then place jewel and gold star Dazzles™ on the snowflake points as shown.
For the inside: Cut 4½"x6 3/8" Christmas Lace border paper with the borders along the right and top edges. Mat on maroon cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue to the inside, aligning the right edges.
Trace and cut a frosty snowflake from Christmas Lace blue snowflakes paper and mat on navy cardstock with 1/16" borders. Trim the left side off, making it 3 1/8" wide, then glue to the inside, aligning the left edge with the left paper edge. Place gold Dazzles™ as shown.
