For the card: Punch out the center snowflake from the card and set aside. Place the card face up on the craft sheet and secure the right half with stencil tape. Place the stencil over the left half and secure with tape. Use the daubers to pounce Distress inks through the openings in the stencil onto the card front. Alternate inks, blending them where they overlap.
When the front has been completely stenciled, remove the stencil. Remove the tape from the card’s right half, then tape the left half in place. Tape the stencil over the right half and repeat the stenciling process. Remove the stencil and clean it and the craft sheet. Fold the card following the package directions.
For the front: Cut 1 3/8"x4 5/8" glitter sheet and place along the left edge. Punch out the largest snowflake die cut and remove the nibs. Place on the craft sheet and paint Crystal Lacquer over the front. Let dry (don’t use a heat gun to dry it as the heat will blister the lacquer).
Cover the large snowflake with another coat of lacquer, then transfer it to scrap paper while wet. Cover with glitter and tap off the excess, then set aside to dry. Foam tape the glittered snowflake to the front, aligning the points. Glue rhinestones onto the snowflake as shown.
For the inside: Cut 4 5/8"x4 5/8" glitter sheet and place over the inside, aligning the edges and center fold. Stamp “Season’s Greetings” in the lower right corner with Marine ink.
Place the snowflake die cut from step 1 on the craft sheet and ink with Tumbled Glass. When dry, stamp “let it snow” in the center with Marine ink. Paint one coat of lacquer on the snowflake and cover with glitter. Tap off the excess and set aside to dry. Glue to the inside, centered in the opening when the card is closed.
