Glittered Poinsettia Card
For the card front: Punch out the poinsettia center from the front, then fold the card following the package directions. Cut 2 3/8"x4 5/8" Sweet Life white dotted paper and glue to the front, aligning the outer edges. On the back, cut away the dotted paper along the edges of the poinsettia shape.
Choose a border Dazzles™ design that includes four strips. Cut two 2 3/8" strips and place along the upper and lower edges of the folded front. Cut a 4 5/8" strip of the same design and place along the left front edge. Cut 4 5/8" of the widest Dazzles™ border and place ¼" from the left front edge.
Punch out the largest poinsettia die cut and cover with Sweet Life red mesh paper. Cut along the edges. Use the marker to cover the poinsettia with clear glitter and let dry. Foam tape to the front, aligning the flower edges, then place diamond shaped Dazzles™ on the petals.
Make a 6-loop ribbon bow and tie the center with thread. Glue to the poinsettia at the upper left. Glue a rose/green hydrangea to the bow center, then glue a medium black pearl to the flower center.
For the inside: Cut 4 5/8"x4 5/8" Sweet Life white dotted paper and glue to the inside. Place Dazzles™ borders to match those on the front along the upper, lower, and right edges.
Place white cardstock on the craft sheet, then position the outer frame from the punched out die cuts on it and use stencil tape to secure. Use the longest palette knife to scoop texture paste from the jar and swipe it over the frame opening. Continue to fill the opening, swiping off any excess with the knife. When the opening is completely filled, carefully remove the tape, lift off the frame, and let dry.
Cut out the glittered flower, then mat it on burgundy cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the inside so the matting shows along the flower’s right edge when the card is closed. Punch out the smallest flower die cut. Cover with Sweet Life pink mesh paper and cut along the edges.
Cover the small flower with Wink of Stella and let dry. Place “joy” in the center of the small flower, then foam tape it to the center of the glittered flower. Place a pink diamond Dazzles™ under “joy” and place “good tidings” Dazzles™ in the card’s lower right corner.
