Deck The Halls Window Ornament Card
For the card front: Punch out the ornament from the card front and set aside, then fold the card following the package directions. Cut 4¾"x4¾" Roses & Lace maroon diamonds paper and attach to the front with repositionable adhesive. Trim around the outer card and opening edges then remove the paper.
Cut 5½" lace tape and place on the cut paper 1/8" from the right edge, wrapping the ends to the back. Cut acetate to cover the opening in the front and glue the edges to the front. Glue the paper to the front, aligning the outer edges and opening.
Stamp the ornament design onto the acetate window with Scarlet ink, then stamp “deck the halls” near the top with Black. Wrap a 10" ribbon around the card front, positioned over the center of the lace. Overlap the ends on the front 1" from the top and glue.
Make a 4-loop ribbon bow and tie the center with thread, then glue it over the glued ribbon ends. Thread the button and glue to the bow center.
For the inside: Cover the inside with Roses & Lace pink lace paper. Glue the ornament die cut from step 1 on the inside, aligned behind the window. Stamp “Merry Christmas” on the ornament in Scarlet, positioned so it appears below “deck the halls” when the card is closed.
Stamp the snowflake decoration below “Merry Christmas” with Dolphin ink. Tie a thread bow and glue to the ornament top.
