Embossed Pearl Acetate Snowflake Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4 7/8"x6 3/8" Pretty Posies blue diamonds paper. Wrap a 6" ribbon across it 2" from the bottom and glue the ends to the back. Glue the paper centered on the front.
Cut 4½"x4½" acetate and cover one side with the 6" double-sided tape, trimming the excess. Place the acetate in the embossing folder, centered over the snowflake with the shiny side up, and close the folder. Follow the manufacturer’s directions to emboss the acetate, then remove it from the folder.
Peel the backing off the tape, then use the paintbrush to dust both mica powders over the entire design until completely covered. Brush off any excess powder, then spray the fixative over the panel and let dry.
Trim the snowflake panel to 4 1/8"x4 1/8" and round the corners with the punch. Mat it mica side up on white cardstock with 1/8" wide borders, then on teal cardstock with 1/16" wide borders. Foam tape to the upper front, slipping it under the ribbon.
Place the “happy holidays” double-stick Dazzles™ on white cardstock, then dust both mica powders over the sticky letters. Trim to 3¾"x¾" and mat on aqua cardstock with 1/16" borders. Mat again on teal cardstock with 1/8" borders, then glue centered below the snowflake.
Make a 4-loop bow with ribbon and tie the center with thread. Glue to the first ribbon, 1¼" from the left edge, then glue the plastic snowflake to the bow center.
For the inside: Cut 4¾"x5¾" Pretty Posies blue floral paper and glue to the inside, 1/8" from the top. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to create another pearlized acetate snowflake and trim to 4 1/8"x4 1/8". Mat on white cardstock, shiny side up, with 1/8" wide borders.
