Gold & White Embossed Christmas Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top. Cut 6¼"x4¾" gold pearl vellum and glue centered on the front. Cut white pearl vellum to fit the embossing folder. Very lightly spritz the vellum with water, then place inside the embossing folder and emboss it. Trim to 5 7/8"x4 1/8" and mat on white cardstock with 1/16" borders.
Wrap the embossed panel four times with thread, 1" from the right end, and secure the ends to the back with tape. Tie the threads together on the front, 1¼" from the top, and trim the ends. Foam tape the panel centered on the front.
Tie the berry cluster stems together with gold thread, then remove the jute tie. Glue the cluster over the knot on the thread, angled as shown. Make an 8-loop bow with thread and tie the center with a 4" thread. Glue the bow to the berry cluster as shown.
For the inside: Emboss a second white pearl vellum panel as before. Trim a 1 7/8" strip off the long edge that includes “‘Tis the season” and “Cheer.” Mat on white cardstock with 1/16" borders, and then on gold pearl vellum with 1/8" borders. Glue across the inside center.
Cut 2½"x2¼" gold pearl vellum and stamp “Joyous Songs and Christmas Cheer…” on it. Mat on white cardstock with 1/16" borders. Wrap thread around the lower right and upper left corners, taping the ends to the back. Glue the sentiment centered on the inside. Make a 6-loop bow and tie the center with thread, and glue over the upper thread. Place a pearl in the bow center.
