Rejoice Card
Card front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover with Red Suede paper, trim. Cut 1” squares from all four corners of the Vintage Christmas floral corner paper. Cut 1“ squares in half again to create corner accents for card front. Glue one of the paper corners to each corner as shown. Cut out. Trace the outside edge of Design Tool #6 Rounded Label onto Metallic Gold paper, cut out. Trace the inside edge of Design Tool #6 Rounded Label onto the green portion of Vintage Christmas floral corner paper. Glue the green label centered onto the gold label. Glue the piece centered onto the card front.
Die cut the small Lacy Ornament from the Metallic Gold paper, Brown Holographic paper, Red Suede paper, and the Vintage Christmas green patterned paper making sure to reserve all of the negative space elements. Place each of the die cuts in front of you, and punch out all the negative spaces from the Red Suede ornament. Cover a small section of white cardstock with glue. Place Red Suede Small Lacy Ornament die cut onto white cardstock. Using tweezers carefully place negative shapes into Red Suede ornament. (Follow sample to recreate the pattern that was used). Cut ornament from white cardstock and set aside. Repeat this step with each remaining ornament. Apply foam tape to the back of each one.
Place a 2” strip of Gold Jewel Border Dazzles™ vertically onto the card front, and 1 5/8” from the left. Place a 4” strip of Gold Jewel Border Dazzles™ vertically onto the card front, and 3” from the left. Place a 1” strip of Gold Jewel Border Dazzles™ vertically onto the card front, and 3¼” from the left. Place Gold Jewel Border Dazzles™ onto each corner as shown.
Die cut the Lacy Ornament holly leaves from Metallic Gold paper, and Red Suede. Cut the berries from Red Suede paper and glue them onto Metallic Gold paper holly leaves. Glue holly 1½” from the left and 1½” from the top. Foam tape the ornaments into position as shown on the card sample. Cut 1”x1/2” strip from white cardstock. Use cosmetic sponge to add Toffee Chalk Ink to edges. Stamp Rejoice stamp “Rejoice” sentiment centered onto the strip using Memento Ink, and glue ¾" from the right and 2¼” from the bottom. Add Gold Jewel Dazzles™ to ornaments as shown.
Card Inside: Glue 5”x6½” Vintage Christmas green patterned paper. Glue 1¾"x 6½” Red Suede ¼” from the left. Place a 1 1/2” strip of Gold Jewel Border Dazzles™ vertically onto the card front at 7/8” from the left, and a 1” strip of Gold Jewel Border Dazzles™ vertically onto the card front at 1 1/4” from the left. Die cut the small Lacy Ornament from the Metallic Gold paper. Punch out negative shapes and glue ornament 1/8” from the left and 1½” from the top.
