Fall Nuts About You Card
For the papers: Trace or photocopy the paper patterns from the side step card package, and cut them out. Trace and cut the front side paper pattern from Darkroom blue paper and glue in place. Cut the front riser pattern from Darkroom striped paper and the back riser from Darkroom brown/blue dots paper. Glue in place. Trace and cut the inside paper pattern from Darkroom rust dots paper and glue.
For the front: Cut 5 7/8"x¾" Darkroom striped paper and mat the long edges on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the front, ¼" from the bottom. Place the Dazzles™ large right-facing squirrel on Darkroom brown paper, cut along the edges, and glue overlapping the strip as shown. Place a Dazzles™ leaf on Darkroom yellow paper and an acorn on brown paper. Cut both out and glue to the upper left corner.
Place two Dazzles™ mushrooms on Darkroom brown paper and the dragonfly on Darkroom yellow paper. Cut each out and glue as shown. Cut and place a 2¼" Dazzles™ border over the lower left edge of the strip and a 1" border at the upper right as shown.
Die cut a 3½" label from Darkroom tan paper and place “I’m nuts about you” with two hearts on it. Back a Dazzles™ leaf and two acorns with Darkroom brown paper and glue in a cluster on the label at the upper right. Glue the label to the back riser, extending 5/8" above the top.
Back a snail with Darkroom brown/teal dotted paper, cut out, and glue to the front riser as shown. Place a 1¼" Dazzles™ border extending from the right edge of the front riser. Place twinkle flowers as shown.
For the inside: Cut 5 7/8"x1¼" Darkroom striped paper and mat the long edges on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the inside, 3/8" from the bottom. Back the smaller right-facing Dazzles™ squirrel on Darkroom yellow paper, cut out, and glue to the strip near the left end.
Cut a 1½" and a 1 7/8" Dazzles™ border and place on the strip as shown. Back the remaining Dazzles™ shown with Darkroom papers as for the front and glue as shown. Place a twinkle flower in the squirrel’s paw, one near the mushroom, and one in the cluster at the upper left.
