German Bell Christmas Ornament
For the ornament: Cut 8"x8" paper. With the gold side inward, fold it in half vertically, unfold, and fold in half horizontally, then unfold it. Turn the paper over, gold side down, and fold it in half diagonally both directions, unfolding after making each crease.
Turn the paper diagonally and fold one side in with the edge along a diagonal fold (similar to folding the wing on a paper airplane). Fold the other side in so the edge is along the same diagonal fold. Unfold.
Turn the paper 180 degrees so the opposite corner is upward. Repeat Step 2, then unfold. Turn the paper 90 degrees so the other diagonal fold is vertical. Repeat Step 2, and then turn the paper 180 degrees so the opposite end is upward and repeat Step 2 again.
Bring the four corners together, gently pushing the sides inward and pinching the center into a bottom point. (It should come together easily.) Open the ornament again and place Ultra tape along the side fold edges. Remove the tape backing and gently bring the sides together to secure the shape.
Use the needle to insert an 8" thread through the top. Tie the thread ends together for a hanger and trim the ends. Decorate the panels with the Dazzles™ poinsettias, alternating the colors.
Make a 4-loop bow with ribbon and tie the center with thread. Repeat for a second bow, and then glue them to the bell top on opposite sides. Make two 4-loop thread bows, tie each with thread, and glue one to each ribbon bow center.
