Making Christmas Cookies Scrapbook Page
For the page: Cut 12"x6" Christmas Sweets red swirls paper and glue to the lower half of a Christmas Sweets tan dotted paper. Cut 12"x1 1/8" Christmas Sweets red circles paper and mat the long edges on brown cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue across the center of the page. Cut a Dazzles™ border in half and place half on each end of the strip, near the upper edge.
Mat the large photo on red cardstock with 1/16" borders, and then on ivory cardstock with 1/8" borders. Mat the small photo on red cardstock with 1/16" borders, then on silver paper with 1/8" borders. Trace exaggerated stars 1 and 2 onto silver paper without moving the template, then cut out, creating a star frame. Repeat with basic stars 2 and 3 on silver paper. Glue the photos and star frames on the page as shown.
Place Dazzles™ “Home is the heart of the season” on Christmas Sweets brown circles paper and trim to 3¼"x3½". Mat on silver paper with 1/16" borders, then on ivory cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue at the upper right as shown. Place Dazzles™ “Christmas cheer” on ivory cardstock and trim to 5 3/8"x1½". Mat on red cardstock with 1/16" borders, and then foam tape at the lower left as shown.
For the sugar cookies, trace and cut rounded star 4 three times and basic star 3 twice from Christmas Sweets brown dotted paper. Mat each on ivory cardstock with 1/16" borders. Cut a basic star 3 and a rounded star 4 from silver paper and mat each on red cardstock with 1/16" borders. Place Dazzles™ “Be Merry” on the larger silver star, and then glue and foam tape the stars and cookies around the photos as shown.
Journal the description on ivory cardstock, keeping it 1 3/8"x1 3/8". Trace basic star 3 around the journaling, cut out, then mat on red cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the lower left. Place the remaining Dazzles™ on the page as shown, placing red and silver jewel Dazzles™ on the brown cookies as ‘sugar.’
