Sugar Plum Treat Package
For the treat package: Cut 3¼"x6 3/8" and 3¼"x5" cardstock rectangles. Turn the longer cardstock horizontal and score 1 3/8" from the right end and 1" from the left end. Place the shorter cardstock horizontal and score 1" from the left end. Crease the scores in valley folds.
On the outside of the shorter cardstock, place Ultra Tape along the edges of the 1" section. Attach the short rectangle to the long rectangle on the inside, aligning the 1" sections. Bring the 1 3/8" section on the long rectangle over the front of the shorter rectangle, creating the base.
For the front: Cut 3 1/8"x3¾" Sugar Plum tan circles paper and glue centered on the front panel. Cut out “May visions of sugar plums…” and glue ¼" from the bottom. Punch out the die-cuts shown and remove the nibs.
Cut the banner die-cut into a 1¼" and a 5/8" piece. Glue to the lower right, overlapped as shown. Glue the silver swirl, purple heart, and green snowflake in a cluster above the greeting as shown. Insert the ivory ribbon into the button and glue it near the bottom of the cluster.
For the flap: Cut 3 1/8"x1¼" Sugar Plum green paper and glue centered on the flap. Punch out the 1½" scalloped snowflake and 5/8" red flower die-cuts and remove the nibs. Glue the snowflake to the flap center, extending below the lower edge, and foam tape the flower to it.
Place the Velcro® halves together, and attach one side to the flap, centered along the inside lower edge. Fold the flap down over the front, pressing the exposed sticky Velcro® onto the front to secure it. Fill the bag with candies, seal it, and then use Ultra Tape to attach it to the package inside back. Close the package.
