Winter Joy Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on your left. Cover with Christmas Sweets red dot paper. Glue 4¾”x4” Christmas Sweets tan tile paper 1/8” from the top edge. Stamp two snowflakes in black on the upper corners. Glue 5”x2½” Christmas Sweets red scallop paper on the bottom edge, leaving the sides unglued. Unfurl a 6” length of twine and glue under the sides of the scallop paper, 1/4” from the bottom edge.
Trace the oval from the Circle Scallop template on Ultra Smooth cardstock and stamp the snowman/girl and three snowflakes in black within the oval. Use the cosmetic wedge to ink around the outer edges of the oval, creating a halo effect around the snowman/girl.
Color in the image with the following pens: DR4 & CR9 for hat, boots and coat; GB6 & CR9 for scarf; GB6, OR2 & CR9 for flower, sign, hair, cap, socks, dress & stump; IB3 & BT8 for cap, snowman scarf, birds & mittens; IB3 for snowballs, snowman & snowflakes. Use the blender pen as needed to blend colors and remove color for highlights.
Cut out the traced oval and mat on holographic paper with a 1/16" border. Trace and cut out a Circle Scallop from red suede and glue the stamped piece on center. Glue 1/16” from the top edge of the tan paper on your card front.
Stamp “WINTER Joy” on 3¼”x5/8” Ultra Smooth cardstock in black, cut the right end in a “v” and cut the corners on the left end. Mat on red suede with a 1/16" border. Punch a hole in the left end and thread a length of twine through it. Tie the twine around the unfurled twine on the left of your card. Unfurl the twine ends and cut the ends in a “v”. Foam tape the tag in place, at an angle, as shown.
