Christmas Memories Step Card
Card base: Place Silver Snowflakes holographic paper face down on your work surface. Turn the template face down and trace the card base onto the back of the paper, including cut and fold lines. Remove the template, cut out the card base and use your X-acto® knife to cut along the marked inner cut line. Score along the marked fold lines, then turn your card over and fold along the scored lines, following the instructions on your template.
Card front: Place black suede paper face down on your work surface. Place the template face up and trace the Front, Back Riser and Front Riser paper patterns onto the back of the paper. Remove the template, cut out the suede paper pieces and follow the template instructions to glue the pieces onto the coordinating pieces of your step card base, leaving 1/8” borders all around.
Use VersaMark™ to stamp “May the Treasures and Good Times…” onto Christmas Cheer tan flourish paper, dust with black embossing powder and set with the heat gun. Cut to 2 3/8”x3 ½&rdquo,; cutting close around the “M” in Memories. Set aside for Step 4.
Mat 2 ½”x4 ½” Christmas Cheer maroon dot paper on holographic paper with a 1/16" border and place Dazzles™ borders ¼” from the top and bottom. Punch a hole in the center of the Dazzles™ borders and insert white Embellies™ brads. Glue the embossed piece from Step 3 on the center and glue centered on the left front of your card.
Mat 2 ¾”x1” Christmas Cheer green dot paper on holographic paper with a 1/16" border and place Dazzles™ borders across the center. Punch a hole in the center and insert a “JOY” Embellies™ brad. Glue on the right front of your card, as shown.
Mat 2 ½”x1” Christmas Cheer red/green tile paper on holographic paper with a 1/16" border and place Dazzles™ swirl as shown. Punch a hole ½” from the upper right corner, insert a holly Embellies™ brad and glue on the front riser, as shown.
Mat 2 ½”x1 ½” Christmas Cheer black dot tile paper on holographic paper with a 1/16" border and place Dazzles™ corner as shown. Punch a hole ¾” from the left, 3/8” from the top, insert a “Deck the Halls” Embellies™ brad and glue on the back riser, as shown.
