Cardinal Pocket Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut cardstock to cover the front and ink the edges. Cut 4½"x6" Vintage Christmas brown paper, ink the edges, and glue centered on the cardstock. Glue to the card, securing just the upper half. Cut 2"x6½" Vintage Christmas red paper, ink the edges, then mat the long edges on Vintage Christmas green paper with 1/8" borders. Ink the edges and glue to the front, ½" from the right edge.
Cut the ¼" stitched grosgrain ribbon in half, then tie two ends together. Insert the long ends through the green tag and pull the knot to the tag hole. Place tape on the tag back along the side and bottom edges. Place the tag and glue the ribbons to the front as shown, tucking the ribbon ends under the cardstock. Secure the remainder of the cardstock. Back the cardinal with Vintage Christmas red paper and holly leaves with Vintage Christmas green paper, cutting around the edges. Glue to the tag. Place the Dazzles™ as shown and tuck a gift card in the pocket. Color the beak with orange ink and the eye with black.
For the inside: Cut 1¼"x6½" Vintage Christmas brown paper, ink the edges, and mat the right long edge on Vintage Christmas green paper with a 1/16" border. Ink the edge and glue as shown. Cut 4½"x4½" Vintage Christmas red paper, ink the edges, and mat on Vintage Christmas green paper with 1/16" borders. Trim the acrylic sentiment to 3¼"x2½" and glue to the red paper, placing “wonderful” 1¼" from the lower edge. Place the Dazzles™ wreath centered on the red paper. Glue to the inside and place the jewel Dazzles™ as shown. Ink the holly leaves green.
