Gingerbread House Christmas Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left and trim to 5"x5". Cut brown cardstock to cover the front. Cut 5"x5" Nature’s Watercolors striped paper, then trim to 4 5/8"x4 5/8" using the scallop-edged scissors. Glue centered on the brown cardstock. Trace and cut the corner pattern from green cardstock. Mat on dark green cardstock with 1/16" borders, scalloping the two outer edges. Glue as shown, then glue plaid ribbon vertically over it, gluing the ends on the back. Glue the “Merry Christmas” acrylic border across the top, trim, and insert a brad in each end. Glue the constructed front to the card.
Place the house and small gingerbread man Dazzles™ on tan cardstock and cut around the edges. Glue as shown. Color areas on both with Smooch ink as shown. Place a heart and peppermint candy Dazzle™ on the background of the Merry, Merry Dazzles™ and cut out. Place on the front as shown.
For the inside: Cut 1"x5" Nature’s Watercolors striped paper and glue along the right edge. Cut 4¼"x5" Nature’s Watercolors green paper and scallop the right edge. Mat that edge on brown cardstock with a 1/8" border, then glue to the inside. Place the Dazzle™ border as shown. Cut 4¾"x2¼" tan cardstock and mat on brown cardstock with 1/16" borders. Place Dazzles™ and color with ink as shown. Glue to the inside. Knot a 3" plaid ribbon and glue below the sentiment. Back a peppermint candy Dazzle™ with red glitter background as before and place over the knot.
