Snow Globe Christmas Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut Color Me™ snowflakes paper to cover the front. Glue dark blue grosgrain ribbon across the paper, 1" from the lower edge, gluing the ends on the back. Glue the paper to the card. Knot a 2½" blue ribbon, then glue it and “sent with love” over the first ribbon as shown. Position the oval template (from the globe package) on the front, ½" from the upper edge, and draw around it. Cut out the oval.
Cut out the pieces for the country church snow globe scene. Place the pieces on the background, stacking them with foam tape between the layers. Brush a very light layer of glue onto the sides and lower areas of the scene and sprinkle glitter on the glue. Shake off the excess and let dry. Squeeze narrow lines of glue on the trees and sprinkle Flower Soft on the glue, lightly pressing it in place. Shake off the excess. Continue to apply glue and Flower Soft to the church and ground, then let dry.
Insert the display globe through the card opening from inside the card. Position the scene in the window, then tape the lower half to secure it. Add some Flower Soft to the globe (just enough to fill below the small tree), then tape the upper half securely.
For the inside: Cover the inside front with Winter Delights blue dotted paper and the inside back with Winter Delights blue snowflakes paper. Cut out the “wishing you a holiday…” acrylic sentiment and glue to the inside. Fold a 2" blue ribbon in half and glue the ends behind the “Happy Christmas” sentiment as shown. Insert a brad, then glue the sentiment at the lower right. Tie a thread bow and glue next to the brad.
