Angel Tiles Holiday Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top. Cut a 4"x5" flocked trees paper, a ¾"x5" white cardstock strip, and a 2"x5" green corduroy paper. Scallop one long edge of the white strip with the scissors. Glue the white strip along the left edge of the flocked trees piece and the green along the left edge of the scalloped strip, making a 6"x5" piece.
Cut out the “Happy Holidays” oval acetate art and glue to the constructed front, positioned as shown. Cut a 2" red ribbon length (without words), fold, and glue to the left end of the greeting. Insert a 5/8" red button brad over the fold. Glue the constructed front centered on the card.
Punch three angels in white cardstock and one in red paper. Cut each to 1" square, then mat the white angels on red and the red angel on white, all with 1/32" borders. Glue two white and one red angel evenly spaced along the green strip. Gently fold up the angels’ wings for a 3-D effect.
For the inside: Print the sentiment on white and trim to 4¼"x2". Mat on red with 1/16" borders and glue 5/8" from the left edge. Cut a 1½"x5" flocked trees paper and mat the left long edge with a 3/8" border. Trim the border to ¼" wide using the scallop-edged scissors. Glue near the right card edge. Glue the remaining angel tile to the sentiment at the upper left.
