Santa Gift Bag & Tag
For the gift bag: Cut 8"x4" Christmas trees paper and 8"x2½" Christmas red plaid paper. Glue the red paper across the center of the trees strip. Punch one long edge in a 9"x3" white cardstock, then trim it to 9"x1½". Repeat for a second piece. Glue one punched piece behind each long edge of the trees piece as matting and trim the ends. Glue to the bag front, 3" from the upper edge. Place scalloped stitches and the Santa and elves Dazzles™ on the red strip as shown. Cut out green alphabet tiles spelling “Merry Christmas” and glue to the bag as shown.
For the tag: Paper piece the Santa Dazzles™ by trimming Christmas red and green plaid papers and peach and white cardstock to fit behind the appropriate sections. Trace and cut fancy label B from Christmas gold plaid paper and stamp the small oval and “To:” on it. Mat on red cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue the gold label to the holly label and the pieced Santa as shown.
Back a Dazzles™ ornament with Christmas green plaid paper, a gift with red plaid paper, and the small tag with white cardstock. Glue as shown. Use the pen to draw dot-dash lines on the green trees paper and the gold label and write “To: you” on the elf’s present as shown. Punch a hole in the holly label and tie it to the bag handle with the narrow ribbon. Make a bow with the wide ribbon and use the narrow ribbon ends to tie it to the handle.
