Friends Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on your left. Cover with Pastel Purple Leaf holographic sheet.
Cover a 6”x4 7/8” white cardstock with Botanical Etchings green paper. Trace the outline of the butterfly ½” from the top centered. Use the X-acto knife to cut the butterfly out. Save for later. Place the covered cardstock facedown over the Iris Folding diagram.
Cut ten 4”x3/4” strips of each color of holographic paper (Blue, Yellow, Purple & Pink). Follow the template directions to tape down the colored strips of holographic sheets to form the butterfly. Finish with a 1” square of Botanical Etchings green paper in the center. Place a flower Dazzles™ in the center. Glue a 4 7/8”x1¾" Botanical Etchings pink paper to the bottom. Place five small flower Dazzles™ evenly spaces along the seam. Glue a 4 7/8”x1/2” Pastel Blue Moire sheet on the center and place a length of Dazzles™ border along the bottom. Place the “Friends” Dazzles™ on the bottom right corner. Glue the piece to the card front.
Card inside: Mat a 4”x4½” Botanical Etchings pink paper on white cardstock with ¼” borders. Glue to the card center. Foam tape the butterfly from Step 2 in the center. Glue a ½”x2 ¼” Pastel Blue Moire sheet down the center of the butterfly. Place the “Happy” & “Thoughts” Dazzles™ on the butterfly as shown.
