Pink & Green Paper-Pieced Christmas Tree Card

For the card front: The card fold is on the left side. Cover the card front with brown paper. Cut a 4 3/4” x 6 1/4” piece of lime texture. Cut a 1 1/8” wide strip of the dots border and glue it along the left edge of the lime. Trim the ends even with the paper. Glue this piece centered on the brown card front.

Trace the patterns. Cut the trunk and top section from the argyle. Cut the center section from stripes and the bottom section from dots. Mat all the pieces on pink. Cut the star from pink textured paper and mat it on brown.

Layer the tree pieces on the card front and glue in place. Add foam tape to the back of the star and adhere it at the top. Add 5mm glitter domes to the tree and star, positioned as shown.

For the inside: Print your sentiment in dark brown on the pink textured paper. Mat it on brown. Cut a tree top section from the lime texture, a trunk from the stripes, and a star from the pink texture. Mat all three on brown. Glue the sentiment and the tree to the inside back as shown. Add 3mm glitter domes over the tree and one on the star.
