Snowman Shaped Card
For the card front: The card fold is on the left. Cut a piece of the light snowflake paper to fit the card front and glue in place.
Trace the patterns. Cut the snowman’s body and head from the light area on the winter border paper. Cut the hat from black, the hatband from teal texture, the carrot from orange, and the scarf pieces from red mesh. Cut the base from black.
Mat the scarf pieces and the hatband on black. Draw the hands, mouth, and eyes on the snowman. Glue the carrot in place. Print the greeting in blue on white and mat it on the dark blue texture, then on black. Use the knife to cut around the two hands, just enough to slip the greeting under them. Glue the greeting in place. Add a snowflake brad above it as shown.
Lay the snowman’s body, head, and scarf onto the base, leaving about 1/8” matting around the edges. Glue the pieces in place. Notice the larger scarf end overlaps the smaller end.
Add a snowflake brad to the right end of the hatband. Glue the band onto the hat, then glue the hat on the snowman’s head. Center the snowman on the card front, then use a pencil to very lightly draw along the right side of him. Remove the snowman and cut along that line. Glue the snowman in place, shifting it slightly over the right edge to cover any exposed card front edges.
For the inside: Cover the inside back with the dark snowflakes paper. Print the sentiment in blue on white and mat it on teal, then on black. Add two snowflake brads. Glue the sentiment to the inside back, making sure it doesn’t show when the card is closed. In a well-ventilated area, spray the card front and inside with the glitter spray. Let it dry completely.
