Picnic in the Park page
Start with the lime green sheet from the Whitewash Color Core pad. Trim the sheet to 12”x12” and sand down around the edges with a sanding block.
Mat a 7”x5” photo onto a 7 ¾”x5 ¾” piece of pink flowers paper. Glue to page ½” from the top and 1” from the right. Mat a 6”x4” photo onto a 6 ¾”x4 ¾” piece of pink flowers paper. Glue to page 1” from the left and ½” from the bottom.
Cut a 7 ½”x5½” piece of vellum. Measure ¾” in from one side and draw a line with a ruler. Repeat this for all sides, then cut on the lines, creating a vellum frame. Erase the pencil lines. Adhere over the 7”x5” photo using Vellum Glue Dots. For the 6”x4” photo, Cut a 6 ½”x4 ½” piece of vellum. Repeating the above process, attach the frame over the photo.
Print “Picnic in the Park” onto a 2 ½”x1 ¾” piece of vellum and use Vellum Glue Dots to mat onto a 2 ¾”x2” piece of pink flowers. Glue to the page ½” from the left and 2 ½” from the top, tilted to the left and overlapping the large photo.
Cut out a glassine envelope from the Creative Pack, fold and assemble, leaving the top flap open. Glue to page 1” from the right and ½” from the bottom, tilted to the right and overlapping the smaller photo. Cut a 3”x3 ½” piece of pink flowers and trim off the top 2 corners. Journal on the tag and slip it into the glassine envelope.
Starting with the bottom set of roses on the papier tole sheet, punch out all the pieces for the pink roses. Glue the first layer of the roses onto the page ¼” from the top and 2 ¼” from the left. Turn over the second layer of the image, place foam pads on the back and remove backing. Adhere this piece to the first, lining up the images. Keep going with all of the remaining layers. Glue the large pink/purple flower piece over the bottom right corner of the large photo, ½” from the right and 3 ½” from the top. Repeat the stacking process to complete the embellishment. Glue the peach roses piece over the bottom left corner of the smaller photo, ½” from the left and bottom. Repeat the stacking process to finish the piece.
