Vintage Roses Cutaway Thank You Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold at the top. On the card front, measure ½" in from the left edge and draw a line from the fold to the bottom edge. Cut this ½" off the front. Measure 2" from the right edge, draw a line from the fold to the bottom, and cut this 2" off the front.
Cut 3 7/8"x4 7/8" Vintage Roses rose illustrations paper with flowers in the lower left corner. Glue it centered on the front flap. Die cut three oval wreaths from the dark brown cardstock, then stack and glue them together.
Scribble acrylic glue randomly (not solidly) over the wreath and let it air dry for 30 seconds. Place the foil copper side up on the wreath and press in place. Let it sit about a minute, then carefully peel the foil off the wreath. There should be bits of foil scattered over the wreath. Repeat if necessary.
Repeat the foiling process on petals of these posies: one ivory 1¾", one ivory 1¼", one ivory ¾", one butterscotch 1¼", and one butterscotch ¾" posie. Also lightly foil two large and four small leaves.
Glue the wreath to the front flap, allowing 7/8" to extend off the right edge. Glue the small butterscotch posie with two small leaves to the wreath at the upper right as shown.
Make a 6-loop bow with the jute and tie the center with a 4" jute length. Glue the bow to the wreath at the lower left, then glue the remaining flowers and leaves to the wreath as shown.
