Tweet Hearts/Square Cage Cutting Die
Card front: Cut a 5 7/8”x4 7/8” Grapefruit Border paper so that the circle is in the left bottom corner.
Place the cutting die ¼” from the right edge and ¾" from the top and bottom edges. Run through the die cutting machine. Place a large bird and a small bird on one side of the acetate. Turn it over and place the opposing birds, matching them exactly. Color the acetate with Spectrum Noir markers. Cut out close to the Dazzles™ edges. Knot one end of the thread, and use the needle to go through the acetate at the top of the small bird. Pierce the bottom of the large bird and leave about 1 ½” of thread between the birds, and tie a knot. Use the needle and thread again, and pierce the top of the large bird and tie a knot. Leave about 1 ½” and tie a knot in the holes at the middle of the die cut. Punch a hole in the middle of a ¾" paper tole circle. Insert a 4½” pink ribbon through the holes in the die-cut, and through the middle of the paper tole circle and tie a knot.
Card inside: Cut a 6”x5” black cardstock. Place the cutting die on the right side, 1/4" from the right side, and ¾" from the top and bottom. Lightly trace the outline. Place the sentiment Dazzles&trade,; the nest and a flower Dazzles™ within this frame. Glue the die cut paper on the black cardstock, being careful to keep the die cut part free.
Place a birdcage Dazzles™ on a 2 1/8” Grapefruit paper tole circle. Mat on black cardstock with 1/16” edges. Foam tape to the circle in the bottom left corner. Trace the 1 ½” paper tole circle onto black cardstock. Ink the edges with the silver ink. Place the “Tweet Hearts” Dazzles™ on the circle and foam tape to the top right corner. Place the border Dazzles™ on the top and bottom.
