Designer’s Note: When I receive a kit, I love to find ways to use the products in addition to how they were designed. For this card, I scaled it down to two layers instead of three, then added it to the front of an opening card as a pop-up.
Instructions:
1. For the card: Place the card with the fold at the top, then trim it to 5¼" wide. Cover the front with Mystic Moon blue tapestry cardstock. Place a silver straight line Dazzles™ near the upper edge, trimming the excess.
2. Remove the Blue Blossoms die-cuts from the backing cardstock. On the Blossoms card back, cut off the panels on each side of the center panel. Remove the inner floral panel and the silver frame together from the Blossoms card front. Use foam tape to attach it over the image on the inside back. Continue to build the layers with foam tape.
3. Crease the Blue Blossoms front on the score lines. Attach the outer left Blossoms panel to the card front, aligning the side and bottom edges. Glue the arch from step 2 to the card front, positioning the left edge against the fold in the Blossoms panel. Attach the right outer panel of the Blossoms front to the card front, aligning the right edges. Glue the “a note to say” label to the Blossoms front as shown.
4. For the inside: Cut 5¼"x3¼" Mystic Moon blue clouds cardstock and mat the long edges on the Mirri with ⅛" borders. Glue it across the inside center. Place a silver straight line Dazzles near each long edge, trimming the excess. Cut the Blue Blossoms floral panels shown and glue them on each end of the blue cardstock. Foam tape the “happy birthday” label and small circle die-cuts as shown.
